Diving at Harbour Island, Eleuthera, The Bahamas

The beauty of the marine habitats surrounding Harbour Island is such that even the water refuses to hide it. On calm days our guests ride on the bow of Under Dog, our 34ft custom-built dive boat, and watch the sea floor pass one hundred feet beneath their dangling feet. Where we take our guests depends on their diving experience, their diving preferences, and the weather. We take a maximum of six divers on our regular boat trips, and every dive is led by one of our experienced and knowledgeable dive instructors.

We have sites to suit every level of diver, from beginner to thrill-seeker. Shallow-water wrecks and coral gardens appeal to novice divers and those who enjoy extended bottom-time. The coral canyons at 'The Plateau' (a 10 acre area so special it featured in National Geographic magazine) are perfect for relaxing dives, and are popular with photographers. The drift-dive at the 'Current Cut' can either be a high-speed thrill-ride or a beautiful slow drift through schools of eagle rays (just let us know which you prefer!). For the shark addicts among you, we have sites where we regularly see sharks in their natural state (no shark feeding here). The menu is extensive...so take your pick!
